Hayloft

Terms of Service

Effective September 26, 2026

Using Hayloft

These terms are between you and Dialogus, the operator of Hayloft, and govern the hosted Hayloft website and assistant service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. If you use Hayloft for an organization, you must have authority to authorize that use and access to its information.

Accounts and invitations

Provide accurate account details and use sign-in accounts and phone numbers you control. Keep your account and connected credentials secure, and tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for actions you authorize through your account.

Members may share invitation links. An invitation lets a recipient apply to create their own account; it does not transfer your account, connections, or memory. Invitations may be disabled when the issuing account is removed or restricted. Do not sell invitations, impersonate others, or use multiple accounts to evade limits.

What you authorize the assistant to do

Hayloft uses AI and connected tools to help with tasks you request. Your instructions, granted permissions, and enabled routines determine what it may access and do. Scheduled or proactive tasks may run without you being present. Review the permissions you grant and stop routines you no longer want.

Connect only services you are authorized to use. You are responsible for obtaining any permission needed to process another person’s information, contact them, or record a call. Hayloft does not give you authority to access someone else’s accounts or bypass a service’s restrictions.

Disconnecting a service or canceling a routine prevents future activity once the change takes effect; it may not undo an action already completed or stop a request already in progress.

AI limitations and beta availability

AI responses, summaries, memories, and tool decisions can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check important information and verify that consequential actions actually completed. Hayloft is not an emergency service or a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Hayloft is in beta. Features may change, become unavailable, or contain errors. We do not guarantee continuous availability, message delivery, accurate reminders, or uninterrupted access to third-party services. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose.

Your content

You retain your rights in the information and content you provide. You grant Dialogus the permission needed to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content to operate Hayloft, fulfill your instructions, maintain security, and provide support, as described in the Privacy Policy. This includes processing by the service providers needed for those purposes.

You must have the rights or permission needed to submit content. AI output may not be unique or accurate, and these terms do not guarantee intellectual property rights in generated output. Check its suitability before sharing or relying on it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Hayloft for illegal activity, fraud, harassment, spam, unauthorized surveillance, distributing malware, stealing credentials, or violating another person’s rights. Do not bypass account separation, access restrictions, or usage controls, or interfere with the service. Follow the terms of connected services, including WhatsApp, Google, and any websites you access.

We may limit activity or suspend an account when necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, meet legal requirements, or control excessive resource use. We will provide notice where appropriate unless doing so would undermine security or a legal obligation.

Third-party services and costs

Hayloft depends on providers for hosting, AI, messaging, search, and optional connections. Their availability and terms also affect the features you use. Hayloft is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp/Meta, Google, or another provider merely because it connects to their services.

Hosted Hayloft is currently offered without a subscription fee during beta. We may introduce paid plans or usage limits, but will disclose applicable charges before requiring payment. Your own third-party subscriptions, carrier charges, and services you purchase remain your responsibility.

Ending use and deleting data

You can stop using Hayloft, disconnect accounts, and request deletion at any time. Signing out or stopping an assistant does not delete saved data. Use Delete everything in Settings for a managed hosted account, or contact us for help. The Privacy Policy explains deletion and retention limits.

We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, legal or security reasons, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to retrieve your information before discontinuing it.

Responsibility and your legal rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta service is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To that same extent, Dialogus is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights, remedies, or protections available where you live.

Software licenses, updates, and contact

These terms govern the hosted service. Separately distributed software and dependencies remain subject to their own licenses.

We may update these terms and will publish the effective date here. We will provide notice of material changes where required. If you do not accept updated terms, stop using the service and request deletion if desired.
